Choose a job
you can actually work.
Pay matters, but eligibility and attendance determine whether that pay is useful to your plan.
How to find and attend work
- Open Phone → Jobs and inspect a role available to your character.
- Read its requirements and schedule before selecting it.
- Use Go to work at the applicable shift time. The public help also describes a Go automatically option.
- Observe the completed payout, then revisit your budget.
Compare two roles on the same basis
| Record from your screen | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Pay per completed shift | A monthly salary and a per-shift payment are different inputs. |
| Workable shifts per week | Use shifts you can attend, not the maximum you hope to attend. |
| Eligibility and promotion rules | Higher-level pay may not be available to your character. |
| Transport and routine costs | A higher gross payment can still leave less surplus. |
| Needs and time demands | A plan must leave room for maintaining your character. |
Listed pay is not a guarantee
The terms explicitly allow salary, payout, tax and requirement changes. The public help also associates a happy character with better pay. Do not use a fixed multiplier from this guide: check the current game rule and what your shift actually pays.
Find your break-even workload
Add weekly rent, repayments and other weekly costs. Divide that total by your expected take-home amount per shift and round up. The calculator does this for you. If the required shifts exceed your realistic schedule, reduce spending or compare another attainable role.
Next: compare your housing costs with the job you have now.
